Although Facebook have created safety and privacy principles, still it cannot guarantee a hundred percent of assurance that its use would always be free from content and conduct which maybe inappropriate or illegal

1. Safety and privacy of the account

To ensure the privacy of your account, have its setting costumized on Privacy Page this will guard you from being viewed or found in any searches which people you know from your workplace, school or residence might do. Never share your password with anyone even your loved one or bestfriend.

2. Unwanted messages

Key in the name of the user, whom you do not want to contact you or see your account, in the Block People section which you can find at the Privacy Page and at the same page limit the people who can access you through searches. You can also report those unwanted messages, just click the link "Report Message" which you can find under the name of your sender.

3. Unwanted Wall Postings

Remove any kind of offensive postings on the Wall through choosing the "delete" link which will appear on every posting. Preventing individuals from leaving unwanted and annoying postings can be possible just by removing the person as you friend from the Friends list. Only friends included in the list are allowed to leave posts on your Wall.
