Switching to another computer but don't want to lose your bookmarks? Here's a quick and easy way to backup and restore your bookmarks in Mozilla Firefox
Instructions
1. Open Mozilla Firefox from your desktop, start menu, taskbar, or wherever else you have a shortcut to the file.
2. n Firefox move your mouse to the top-left corner of the window. There should be an option that says "Bookmarks". Refer to picture if you're having trouble.
3. Click "Bookmarks" and choose "Organize Bookmarks..." from the drop-down menu. A faster way to do in this would be to press "Ctrl+Shift+B".
4. This will open a windows called "Library". From here click the button at the top that says "Import and Backup" and choose "Backup..." from the drop-down menu. Save the JSON file to the directory of your choosing. If you are switching computers it might be a good idea to save this file to a flash drive. Congratulations, you're bookmarks are backed up!
5. Now to restore your saved bookmarks. Follow the previous instructions until you the "Library" window open. Now click the button at the top that says "Import and Backup" and choose "Restore >" then "Choose file..." from the drop-down menu.
6. Locate the JSON file you saved earlier and click "Open". You've now successfully restored your backed up bookmarks
