RSS is a way of finding out weather or not your favorite website has been updated the last time you visit them. Today, I’m going to teach you how to use RSS. So let’s get started, just follow the steps below to continue.
· You will need a computer, an internetconnection, and the addresses of your favorite websites.
· Choose an RSS program. You need an RSS aggregator to use RSS. Do a Google search for RSS aggregators. If you use a lot of different computers during the day, a web based RSS aggregator is the best choice for you. If you use the same computer all day, an RSS aggregator built into your web browser is a good choice.
· Find an RSS feed. You can tell if a website has an RSS feed if it displays the symbol. To see what the symbol looks like, do a Google search.
· Subscribe. To subscribe to an RSS feed, copy the web address into your RSS aggregator. Some aggregators will automatically subscribe to a feed by simply clicking on the RSS symbol.
· View your RSS feeds. When you go to your RSS aggregator, you will see a list of updates from your favorite websites. So that’s it, you are done.
